Eighty per cent of garlic production marketed by the Cooperativa Agricola Voghierese a r.l. comes from certified member farms: GLOBAL GAP – GRASP (global standard ensuring the application of good agricultural practices – assessment of social aspects related to the activities of agricultural workers).
CHECK FRUIT (body overseen by the Italian Ministry of Agricultural, Food, Forestry and Tourism Policies)
CITTÀ AMICA SLOW (international network of cities with a good quality of life).
In order to promote the product at a national and European level and to regulate and organise the work of local farms in the best possible way, the Consorzio Produttori Aglio di Voghiera (Garlic Producers’ Consortium of Voghiera) was established in 2000 – both the Cooperativa Agricola Voghierese and its members have joined this consortium.
